Killed by gun April 7, 1998, at age 21

Fatisha Pettus was 21-years old and the only child for her mother. She was a licensed vocational nurse, working for Tender Loving Care, home hospice patients which she loved dearly. She was with 349th General Hospital Company Army Reserve.

She was studying to be a Registered Nurse at Southwest College. She took the Long Beach Police test and passed, and was waiting for the background check when she died.

She enjoyed working with children. She loved her family and friends dearly. She loved comics, dancing, vacationing, movies, shopping for bargains and eating out with co-workers.
