Killed by gun April 12, 2012, at age 21

Michala is the daughter of my youngest son and his ex-wife. She is the joy of her father’s life. She is tall and beautiful. She is a well-mannered lady and polite. She was a joy to take care of when she was thirteen years old when her father who was in the service at the time went overseas for three months. She helped me get oriented to Omaha, Nebraska as I am from Pennsylvania and had never lived there. She and her brother loved to go golfing with Dad. She was a beautiful baby and young girl who grew into a lovely young lady.

Killed by gun

My son, my beautiful, outgoing, friendly, giving, smiling son. Always a kind word, always a happy face. Loved life. Loved people. Loved music. He finished trade school at L.A. Recording Workshop to be a recording engineer and music producer. He was studying piano at Glendale Community College and was working at Pier One to pay his bills. He even got a second job at the Wherehouse, right when he was killed. He had lived on his own for only two months when strangers murdered him. He was asleep in his bed with a t-shirt that read “live by peace.” That was his life, “peace and love.” Thank you.

Killed by gun on December 24, 1999, at age 33

Brian was an intelligent, caring, sensitive young man who loved life, people, and his family. He laughed, joked, and shared precious moments with us, which we will always remember.

The last three years of Brian’s life, he had a terrible illness that robbed him of his ability to enjoy life as he had known it. Brian took his own life probably on Christmas Eve, 1999. Brian had left home on the 20th of December and he was found on the 26th. We don’t even know for sure what day he died. Some say guns kill, but I say bullets kill. Brian couldn’t buy a gun because of the waiting period, so he built his own pipe gun because he just couldn’t stand to live any longer. He will never be forgotten.
