Women Against Gun Violence was proud to stand with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on August 7, 2015, as he signed the measure to ban large-capacity magazines. Thanks to councilman Paul Krekorian’s measure, Los Angeles is now the largest city in California to ban the possession of large-capacity magazines, putting us at the forefront of the national dialogue on how to promote gun safety and prevent gun violence.
