Killed by gun August 28, 2002 at age 21
Adam L. Rollins was just 21 years old when assailants gunned him down in front of his home. The violent end of Adam’s life in Highland Park, California, on August 28, 2002 never made television, radio, or print media news. There was no outcry. Adam was the father of two small children and had dreams of raising and supporting his family. He had told his mother, who lived right next door to him, that he wanted to study photography at Pasadena City College. He was not given the opportunity to aspire to his dreams. His children will never have their father around to see them grow up. He also leaves his two youngest brothers and a teenage sister. Those who took away his dreams must now answer to a higher authority. Adam, rest in peace in God’s home for you will always be in our hearts.
