Last night America broke another sad record…again. Last night, in Las Vegas, a mass shooting took more lives and injured more people than any previous mass shooting in the United States. At the time of this writing, reports indicate 52 people killed, over 500 wounded – many seriously.
This American terrorist had a cache of guns in his hotel room and was able to shoot concert-goers on the ground from his room’s 32nd floor windows. And while the media focuses on the type of man the terrorist was (a good man until he wasn’t), his age, his history, the shock of his family … here’s what we do know.
Nevada has weak gun laws.
Nevada DOES NOT prohibit the possession of assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
Nevada DOES NOT have a waiting period for the purchase and possession of guns, and
Nevada DOES NOT limit the number of firearms that can be purchased at one time.
Gun laws DO make a difference but if the pattern holds, our Federal legislators and the NRA, emboldened and empowered by our current Federal Administration, will use this opportunity to weaken gun laws instead of strengthening them.
We’ve appealed to you before to call your legislators but it couldn’t be more important than NOW!
Please call or email your member of Congress — Representative and Senators — today and tell them it is critical that they pass strong and effective gun regulations that will protect us from assault weapons, gun silencers, armor piercing bullets, and weak gun laws that allow “good guys” to purchase and carry any firearm anywhere.

Vote NO on legislation that will allow people to purchase and carry any firearm anywhere! Vote no on Reciprocity that will allow states with weak gun laws to impact my state and no on The SHARE Act that will weaken regulations on silencers.
